Pedigo, Benjamin
Ben Pedigo is a PhD student in Biomedical Engineering at Johns Hopkins University advised by Dr. Joshua Vogelstein and co-advised by Dr. Carey Priebe. Ben is working to apply recent advances in statistics and data science for networks to neuron-level connectomes. He is collaborating with Dr. Marta Zlatic and Dr. Albert Cardona’s groups to help make sense of the connectome of the larval Drosophila brain. Ben is also working with Microsoft Research on the development of graspologic, a Python package for statistical analyses of networks. Ben received a B.S. in Bioengineering from the University of Washington and he is currently an NSF Graduate Research Fellow.
